What is Itty Bitty Ads?

A member-to-member co-op advertising network. You buy positions so your ads appear on your IBA page, keep every spot you purchase, and earn exposure as the network grows.

Does IBA take a cut of ad payments?

No. Ad-spot payments go to the current holder.

What is the yearly maintenance fee?

IBA Website Maintenance is $25.00 per year. It is separate from buying spots. After you create an account, the payment page lists the methods IBA accepts. Pay that amount, then submit the payment form with your payment details. Until that fee is approved, no ads can be placed or impressions earned.

What am I buying when I purchase a spot?

When you purchase a spot, your own ad occupies that position on your own IBA page. You pay the current holder the spot’s fixed price. Their ad stays on their page. You become the holder of that position on your page, so later members who want it pay you.

Why do spots cost different amounts?

Prices follow the focal point of the 3×3 grid and never change:

What if someone joins through my page and does not buy my spots?

Your ads stay on their page and continue appearing when others join through them. That increases exposure. If someone later selects one of your spots from their IBA page, then as the current spot holder, you get paid.

Why do I add a payment method for each spot?

Spots cost different amounts. Add how you get paid for each spot you hold. Square and some PayPal checkout links are built for one price. Cash App, Venmo, Zelle, and a PayPal email can accept any amount, but still list them on each spot so the buyer pays the right price.

How do I set up Square payment links?

Create one Square payment link for each purchased spot, then paste that link into My Account under how members pay you. Use the exact amount for that spot.

  1. Log in to Square.
  2. Click Payments & invoices.
  3. Click Payment links.
  4. From the expanded menu, choose Payment links again.
  5. Click the Create link button in the upper right.
  6. Choose Take a payment.
  7. Click Continue in the upper right.
  8. On the left, enter the item details:
    • Details: IBA spot 1 (use your actual purchased spot number).
    • Choose Exact amount and enter that spot’s price:
    Spot 1: $8.00

Spot 3: $12.00
Spot 4: $7.00
Spot 5: $15.00
Spot 6: $6.00
Spot 7: $3.00
Spot 8: $5.00
    • Frequency: leave it set to One-time.
    • Redirect to a website after checkout: enter https://ittybittyads.com.
  9. Click Save in the upper right.
  10. Click Copy on the popup window.
  11. In IBA, open My Account and go to how members pay you.
  12. Method: choose Square.
  13. This method is for: choose the spot that matches the Square link you just created.
  14. Handle / address / checkout link: paste your Square link.
  15. Press the green Add payment method button.

Repeat for each purchased spot so each Square link is locked to that spot’s price.

How many ads can I display?

Up to 4 of your own ads: 1 free rotating ad plus up to 3 purchased paid spots. Until a paid position has an ad assigned to it, an IBA availability placeholder image will be shown with you still being the spot holder.

What happens after I pay a member?

Upload a screenshot of the ad-spot payment. The holder has 3 days to confirm. If they do not, IBA can approve from your screenshot. When approved, your ad occupies that spot on your page.

How do impressions work?

Earn them by showing your IBA page, by referring qualified referrals who join through your page (5,000 bonus impressions each), or by purchasing them through IBA. Your free rotating ad spends 1 impression each time it is shown.

When do I earn the referral bonus?

A qualified referral is a member who completes the required registration and account activation process. That means they join through your IBA page and their yearly maintenance fee is approved. You receive 5,000 bonus impressions when they are activated, if your own yearly fee is current. Visiting your page without joining does not count.

Can I refresh my page to earn impressions?

No. Viewing your own page earns nothing. Other visitors also cannot generate more than one qualifying impression per page every 24 hours.

What ads are allowed?

See the advertising guidelines. All ads are reviewed. Inappropriate, misleading, offensive, or illegal ads will not be approved.
